Hard to Find Single Use Whiskey Barrels - Refillable
Rare hard to find small whiskey single use barrels. This is a mixed lot from Reservoir distillery in Virginia. The distillery used them for Rye (13), Bourbon (39), and Wheat (19), but only one time. Yes, they are empty but refillable. Then they found their way to us. Use them for your own spirits or as decoration, wastebaskets, stools, maybe a small ice chest. Of course, you might think of another way to use them. If you have a need, these barrels may be perfect for you. Watch as your small barrel become a conversation piece in your home.
UNIQUE: The 5 gallon small barrel is a real oak whiskey barrel. We have 6-hoop barrels and 4-hoop barrels. The bourbon are all 4-hoops. The wheat has 1 4-hoop and the rest 6-hoops. The rye has 1 4-hoop and the rest 6-hoops.
INCLUDED: Barrels may have wood bungs or no bungs, whichever came with the barrel. In some cases, you may want to replace the bung.
OPTIONS: Current stock is now empty but had bourbon, wheat or rye in it.
CAUTION: If putting liquid in them, before first use, make sure to soak the barrel to swell the wood until it stops weeping and then sanitize it, usually 3-7 days (sometimes longer).
Barrels will ship within 1 week after payment.
Approximate Barrel Dimensions:
- 5 Gallon – 12-14” x12-14” x 17-18”H
- The 6 hoop version is narrower and taller than the 4 hoop version.
