RECYCLED: These rustic whiskey barrels still have some marks and whiskey stains proudly showing their years of distillery and maybe brewery service. Because these area whiskey barrels, they are charred inside. All this adds a special touch for those who are sensitive to ecology and recycling. For used barrels, any whiskey scent should dissipate in days.
UNIQUE: We’ve taken the head off and added a rustic rope handle to it to become a cover when not in use but can easily be taken off when needed. The 30 gallon barrel is the perfect size for the normal black trash bags. Just take the lid off and pull out the bag. These barrels come with a wood bung to close the bung hole from insects.
HAND CRAFTED: It is hand crafted by us with love and quality in mind here in California, USA. Every product is custom made to order. Please allow us up to 2-4 weeks after payment to create your product.
OPTIONS: Select from a used whiskey barrel with all the stains and maybe even a whiskey aroma or if you don't want the whiskey aroma, select a new whiskey barrel. Both used and new barrels are charred inside. For a more refined look, we can sand and finish the barrel, even so, there will still be some remaining marks and stains. If you desire this, add sanding and medium walnut oil or ebony to finish the barrel.

Please note that although the same care and quality is put into all of our products, there will be natural variation due to the wood selection (either French or American white oak), wood figure, whiskey or cooperage markings, whiskey stains from the inside of the barrel, and other factors. No two pieces will be identical and each has its own story to tell!
