Rustic 10 & 15 Gallon Tabletop Whiskey Barrel Ice Chests

Did you look at our 59 gallon wine barrel ice chest and say it's just too big?  We heard you. We now make it in smaller sizes. What about a 10 or 15 gallon whiskey barrel ice chest tabletop versions?  It'll make your party complete. And if you need a bottle opener, well there’s one attached. RECYCLED: The whiskey barrel ice chest gives us the outside of a real whiskey barrel and the charred insides that help make whiskey what it is.  This ice barrel makes us think of the distilleries as this whiskey barrel was made to lay on it's side on a stand similar to the way they are in the distillery. Using retired whiskey barrels adds a special touch for those who are sensitive to ecology and recycling.

UNIQUE: The whiskey ice barrel is a whole 10 or 15 gallon whiskey barrel, made from white oak. And since whiskey barrels are really charred inside, we sand the inside so your ice cubes don't turn black. These are our medium sizes. The stand is made from barrel wood or red oak. We soak the barrel in water to ensure the staves swell and are watertight.  The ice barrel is rustic by design and includes an attached rustic bottle opener. We use a dark walnut Danish oil with an optional dark walnut stain to finish the ice barrel. We find that each barrel takes the stain and oil in its own way along with their markings being slightly different, hence no two ice barrels will be the same.

HAND CRAFTED: It is hand crafted by us with love and quality in mind here in California, USA. Every product is custom made to order.  Please allow us up to 3 weeks after payment to create your whiskey ice barrel.

OPTIONS: Choice of finishes:

• Dark Walnut stain and oil finish  (makes the barrel wood look like the 53 gallon whiskey barrel wood - really dark brown)
• Dark Walnut oil finish (gives it a nice finish but not so dark)
• Medium Walnut oil finish

INCLUDED: Each ice barrel comes with a bottle opener and stand.

Please note that although the same care and quality is put into all of our products, there will be natural variation due to the wood selection (either French or American white oak), wood figure, winery or cooperage markings, and other factors. No two pieces will be identical and each has its own story to tell!
