Rustic Wine Barrel Train Tunnel

The wine barrel small train tunnel is lovingly handcrafted with quality in mind. It can add that rustic touch as your model train set.  Create a unique and interesting scenic setting for your train and then watch it emerge from a wine barrel tunnel delivering your sandwich to you. We originally made it for a TV commercial and now you can have one too. The wine barrel train tunnels are a unique gem!  Made from 1” solid white oak, it is durable and strong to last a very long time.

RECYCLED: The rustic wine barrel train tunnel is made from the barrel itself. The larger tunnels give us the outside of a real wine barrel with its hoop, rack and wine stains. The smaller tunnels are made from new whiskey small barrels. They are sanded down smooth and finished with Danish oil. The fact they are also made from retired or new wine barrels adds a special touch for those who are sensitive to ecology and recycling.

UNIQUE: The rustic barrel train tunnel is made from small whiskey barrels for model train sets. We can make the tunnel portal the size needed for your set. For those that have model trains that you can ride on, we can use the larger wine barrels for the tunnel portal that you can ride through. Each tunnel is made from white oak, a hard, sturdy wood. It will endure and last a long time. It is rustic by design. All wine barrels with their markings are slightly different, so no two tunnels will be the same.

HANDCRAFTED: It is handcrafted by us with love and quality in mind here in California, USA. Every product is custom made to order.  Please allow us up to 4 weeks after payment to create your tunnel.

OPTIONS: For a standalone tunnel (2 tunnel cuts), select the whole barrel. If you want the tunnel flush (1 tunnel cut) against a wall, select the half barrel option.

CUSTOMIZE: Please call or email us if you wish a tunnel in a different size barrel. 

Please note that although the same care and quality is put into all of our products, there will be natural variation due to the wood selection (either French or American white oak), wood figure, winery or cooperage markings, wine stains from the inside of the barrel, and other factors. No two pieces will be identical and each has its own story to tell!
