Rustic Wine Barrel Sushi Stave Plates – Available in Various Sizes

The wine barrel sushi stave plate is lovingly handcrafted with quality in mind and will be a beautiful and functional addition to any kitchen. This wine barrel plate is a unique gem! It is perfect for individual servings of sushi, cheese, fruit and actually, anything that fits on it, in your home or outdoors. Made from 1” solid white oak, it is durable and strong to last a very long time.

RECYCLED: The rustic wine barrel plate made from 1-3 cut barrel staves gives us the wine soaked inside of the barrel and may have artistic wine or other markings on it. It sits on 2 pieces of stave to keep it from rocking. It is sanded down smooth and finished with food safe walnut oil and sealed with food safe walnut wax.  The fact they are also made from retired wine barrels adds a special touch for those who are sensitive to ecology and recycling.

UNIQUE: The plate is made from repurposed wine barrel staves that are 1” thick solid white oak. Perfect for anything you need it for. We make them in 3 sizes. We also make a matching platter if you like to have a set. What a great gift for the wine enthusiast!  Made from white oak, a hard, sturdy wood, it will endure and last a long time. It is rustic by design. All wine barrel staves with their markings are slightly different, so no two plates will be the same.

HANDCRAFTED: It is handcrafted by us with love and quality in mind here in California, USA. Every product is custom made to order.  Please allow us up to 2 weeks after payment to create your plates.

OPTIONS: Three sizes are offered: small, medium and large. Whichever size you choose, they are perfect for your dining room or outdoor patio table.  We also offer a set of 4 plates of the same size.

Please note that although the same care and quality is put into all of our products, there will be natural variation due to the wood selection (either French or American white oak), wood figure, winery or cooperage markings, wine stains from the inside of the barrel, and other factors. No two pieces will be identical and each has its own story to tell!
