Celebrating 50 years of love!

50 Years of Love, Adventure, and Family
By Kimi Evans

Growing up, I don't think I fully appreciated how special my parents' story was.

Before they were Mom and Dad, Mike and Carole were explorers. They traveled the world together, collecting experiences, stories, and memories long before they said "I do." Their love for adventure didn't end when they got married—it simply evolved into building a life, raising a family, and creating a home where everyone always had a place at the table.

Over the past 50 years, I've watched them navigate life's highs and lows with resilience, humor, and an unwavering commitment to one another. They've shown us that love isn't just found in grand gestures. It's found in the everyday moments: choosing each other, supporting each other's dreams, and facing whatever comes next as a team.

The values they've lived by have shaped our family in countless ways. Their curiosity about the world inspired us to seek out new experiences. Their generosity taught us the importance of showing up for the people we love. Their strength reminded us that families aren't built by perfection—they're built by perseverance, grace, and a whole lot of laughter.

As their daughter, one of the greatest gifts they've given me is the example of what a lasting partnership can look like, both in a loving and practical / business partnership. Their legacy lives on not only through their children, but now through their grandchildren, who continue to benefit from the love, traditions, and stories that Mike and Carole have nurtured over five incredible decades.

Fifty years of marriage is an extraordinary milestone, but somehow it feels perfectly fitting for two people who have always embraced life's journey side by side.

Mom and Dad, thank you for showing all of us what it means to love deeply, live fully, and build a family rooted in adventure and unwavering support. We are who we are because of you.

Happy 50th Anniversary. Here's to the beautiful life you've built together—and all the memories still to come.
