Who doesn’t love pet fish? They’re said to be relaxing to watch, maybe even reduce your stress. So, for those of you that love wine barrels and fish, we turned a wine barrel into a fish tank. You can even personalize it with your pet’s name, if you name your fish that is… Whether it be in your living room or office, people will definitely notice it.
UNIQUE: A wine barrel fish tank is certainly unique. It is made of 1“ solid white oak and weighs about 100 pounds, empty. Add water and it weights up to 800 pounds. We bent the plexiglass to the barrel to make up to 5 windows in which to view your fish. It is rustic by design. Even though it is finished with a Danish Oil, each barrel takes the stain and oil differently, hence, no two will look exactly alike.
We also added a metal barrel rack taken from the tops of a real wine barrel rack to support the barrel and hold it steady. This stand is only 5” high and needs to sit on a base bringing the barrel fish tank to your desired height. You'll need a heavy duty, durable base that can handle the weight to support it.
HAND CRAFTED: It is hand crafted by us with love and quality in mind here in California, USA. Every product is custom made to order. Please allow us up to 4-6 weeks after payment to create your fish tank.

Please note that although the same care and quality is put into all of our products, there will be natural variation due to the wood selection (either French or American white oak), wood figure, winery or cooperage markings, wine stains from the inside of the barrel, and other factors. No two pieces will be identical and each has its own story to tell!
